By writing it out, a mix of her musings, the experiences of other vehicles, fanfiction, the lives of other Melbournians and events in the city as a whole.

A naive train who has been sheltered from most of the ugly parts in life. Her depot is extremely well maintained, all her wants catered to, and she simply cannot see the wrong in anything.

A spunky activist bent on vehicle supremacy. She is determined to do whatever it takes to satisfy her extremist beliefs, and encourages 717M to speak up about her experiences. Basically a textbook example of "no screen time, all the plot relevance."

222M has been beaten down so much over his whole life he's afraid of speaking up about anything lest it lead to extreme consequences such as being scrapped. He decides to simply do his work for the rest of his life as that's what the companies want from him.

444M's technician. This is his first serious job, and his expectations of a workplace have already been tarnished.

The head of the anthropomorphic vehicle department at the train company. He wants to keep up the performance of the trains and keep customers happy while also balancing the trains' health and safety, which is definitely a challenge.
