The Clans

LeapClan

LeapClan’s territory is over the outer islands, a collection of smaller floating islands that connect the main island to their camp island. Each island has been fortified by some plants, wood and rocks to prevent cats from falling off. The camp island has a small pond that flows off the island and the “jump rocks” which are used for training kits and apprentices to leap across the islands before they can head out of camp for real.

Cats from this clan have strong hind legs to jump from island to island without falling into the void, as well as immense grip strength to recover from close calls. They are descended from SkyClan, inheriting their ability to leap high and far. Contrary to the stereotypes, no cat has fallen off any of their islands for quite a while, and despite the elders' tales, naughty kits aren't punished by being thrown off.

HeartClan

HeartClan live underneath the main island and can access it via a tunnel leading upwards. Their territory consists of a network of gigantic tubes that are actually giant blood vessels, filled with constantly pumping blood. They all lead into the central Heart, which serves as the clan’s camp. The vessels also lead into other areas of interest, such as a giant lung, kidney, pancreas, liver and stomach, which is full of a hazardous acid.

The blood vessels at the bottom flow out into the void, and cats from this clan are trained swimmers to effectively move around these vessels and also steer clear of the void-flowing ones. They are descended from RiverClan, from which they gain their ability to swim very well. Newly evolved abilities include a great sense of touch, flow and gravity.

LightClan

LightClan is one of the two clans on the main island, alongside GemClan. Their territory is in the Holograph Sea, which is a giant expanse of light projections and occasional waves and shapes representing sounds. These constructs constantly warp in shape and colour, and members of this clan are skilled in camouflaging into them. Their camp is located inside a cube that mysteriously has not changed in appearance. They are descended from ShadowClan, inheriting their ability to hide and stalk.

GemClan

GemClan is the other clan on the main island. Their territory is a large area filled with huge crystals seemingly sprouting and branching out of the ground at random. The floor is also a geode-like surface. Their camp is located underneath the tallest tree on the main island, which leads to CloudClan territory. The clan members are descended from ThunderClan, from which they get their superior climbing ability, useful for traversing the difficult terrain.

CloudClan

CloudClan floats above the main island in the form of a gigantic cloud, and is accessed by the tallest tree in GemClan’s territory. Their land itself is a collection of dunes and other structures made up entirely of clouds, with prey that have fluffy, feathered wings on their backs and strange golden circles floating above their heads. Their camp is a structure they built themselves out of the malleable clouds. They are descendants of WindClan, who passed on their capacity as strong runners.
